The Annual Tree Planting Sponsored Walk 2023 organized by Employee Africa (EA) in partnership with Unicaf, Minerals Development Company Botswana (MDCB) and EcoWaste is one such event that embodies the spirit of environmental stewardship and community engagement.

Annual Tree Planting Sponsored Walk 2023  was held on the 28th of October 2023, in Palapye, Botswana under the theme ‘𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞, 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲’. The sponsored walk was the highlight of the event, bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together to promote a healthy lifestyle and environmental consciousness. Participants embark on a walk from Palapye Old Mall to Kediretswe Grounds immersing themselves in the beauty of the natural world they aim to protect.

Employee Africa donated 500+ trees to Palapye residents. This exemplified a fostering growth initiative focused on climate change, with the need to promote awareness within the Palapye community about environmental preservation and a mentality shift toward sustainable development goals.
